About Us
Our School

Our Mission
Mission Bay School exists to give every student in Mission Bay a joyful, rigorous public education in a school built for the way children actually learn — light-filled classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, and rooms designed collaboratively with SFUSD educators and families. As a founding school, our first job is to build a community as strong as our building.
A Welcome From Our Principal
Mission Bay School's founding principal is Monette Benitez. A full welcome message is coming soon — sign up for updates to hear as soon as it's posted.

Programs
TK–5 Elementary
A full Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade pathway on one campus, following SFUSD's core curriculum with founding-year additions shaped by our families.
Pre-Kindergarten
A dedicated early-education program on the same site, with its own application track through SFUSD Early Education.
Linked Learning Hub
The campus also houses a Linked Learning Hub connecting high schoolers to career-readiness experiences — a district-wide program, not part of the elementary school day. Learn more on SFUSD's site ↗
